Guy Gerber who is so well known for his Cocoon, Bedrock & Supplement Facts releases was nominated best newcomer in German magazine Groove in last years poll, but he’s no newcomer anymore: He’s right up there in the top league alongside the best producers and remixers today and we’re immensely proud to release his excellent remix of Formation Flying on Tic Tac Toe Records.

This is why we decided to release it as a limited single sided 12” in red coloured vinyl so you better go get your hands on this special gem, as long as it’s still in stock!!

Gerber has turned the original melodic track with rich pads into a monster groover featuring hard-hitting beats and in your face melodies, but still keeping the well-known Guy Gerber trancy touch driving the track and crowd further and further into oblivion!

Info: Following his awesome 'Courses For Horses' release on Renaissance, Steve Lawler makes a long-waited return to production duties on his own Viva Music imprint, marking the event with a stellar set of remixes from a who's who of modern electronic music.

The original version is a slow-burning house workout, sporting liquid bass and hooky, synthetised percussion, all underpinned with Steve's typically awesome drums. Fresh from mixing the latest Global Underground compilation alongside his erstwhile companion Layo, Bushwacka! files solo for his rework, pairing the original percussion with a skippy groove and jarring, off-kilter synth work.

Next up, rising star and Caravan Records boss October puts his considerable production talents to work, chewing up the original percussion and adding fuzz-edged melodies before building things up over the last two minutes with hissing riffs and dark atmospherics.
